This is another chance for non-Shed Members (of any sex) to learn the basics about tools and home maintenance, etc. The course will run over three consecutive Friday afternoons from August 23, 2024 ending on September 6, timed from 1 pm to 4pm, and will broadly encompass the following subjects (others might be included on request): Basic description of "handyman" tools & their uses including hands-on experience. Fillers, Paintwork repairs, Doors & Hinges, Locks, Hanging Paintings, Plumbing, Roof & Guttering, Windows, Basic Reticulation. Simple Electrical queries; Tiling, Wood Finishes. The cost of the course is $90.00 per person which includes afternoon tea on each of the three afternoons and covers any materials used.
